Okay. So the title of these doesn’t exactly make you want to jump up and bake. I mean, olive oil in a cookie? Hmmm……

It took me a while to get around to these. Other cookie recipes just kept jumping up and screaming “Bake me! Bake me!”

But I must admit, when I did finally work up the nerve to try these, they were pretty darn good. As the blogger says, these are good when you don’t want something sickeningly sweet.

These are about comparable to shortbread in the sweetness department and they are fantastic with a cup of tea! My husband didn’t care for them much, but what does he know?! (Just kidding Honey!)

I hope you’ll give them a chance. A name isn’t everything, after all…
